Real Madrid supestar Cristiano Ronaldo, who recently won his fifth Ballon d'Or, reportedly wants to leave Los Blancos.

Before the season began, it was believed that Ronaldo was unhappy with life in Spain following the allegations of tax fraud levelled at him earlier this year.

The Portuguese was reportedly displeased with Real's lack of support, and even claimed in court that he felt he would never have received that treatment in England.

Ronaldo was said to be looking for a way out of Los Blancos amid his court case, while he later became frustrated with matters on the pitch as he bemoaned the club's sale of striker Alvaro Morata, who joined Chelsea in August.

Despite these issues taking place months ago, football journalist Eduardo Aguirre still believes Ronaldo could soon leave Real.

"Today, Cristiano still wants to leave Real Madrid," he told El Chiringuto TV.

"He is closer than ever to go."

Ronaldo was recently awarded a fifth Ballon d'Or, seeing him draw level with FC Barcelona's Lionel Messi.

The 32-year-old has scored 14 goals and assisted a further three strikes in 19 games for Real so far this season.
