Luka Modric has revealed the secret on how Real Madrid can defeat Barcelona in the coming El-Clasico at the Santiago Bernabeu according to report.
Real Madrid had a slow start to the season seeing them dropped points needlessly which widens the gap between them and Barcelona on the La Liga table this season.
With the World Club Cup win last weekend, expectations are high by the Bernabeu faithful and the fans are expecting a classic performance from the European Champions and Modric has moved to assure Real Madrid fans that they are ready to get the three points and narrow down the gap.
“We are in good shape and happy that we have this great game to play in before Christmas. We are ready and willing to give our all in El Clásico. Hopefully, we will win and get closer to the top of the table,” he told the club website.
He also said that “playing together” will be key in order to beat Messi and Co.
"Winning will depend on playing together, on how we read the game and how we play as a unified team.
It is important to be together and not give Barcelona any space because if you let them play, they have players who can really punish you. The two teams have some great players and any of them can decide the game.”
