Paris Saint-Germain ace Kylian Mbappe has been ruled out of Les Persian all important Champions League Round of 16 encounter with Real Madrid through injury, according to reports.

The French teenage prodigy was stretchered off following a horrible collision with Lyon keeper Anthony Lopes on Sunday.

Spanish ESPN then claim that Mbappe injured his back in the challenge and will need two months on the sidelines.

Mbappe was bearing down on goal but was caught short by stopper Lopes who flung himself at the young Frenchman.

Mbappe looked in serious pain as he lay on the ground motionless as worried team-mates came to check on his well-being.

However there appear to be conflicting reports over his injury with reports from France claiming there is "no signs to worry about."

The 19-year-old also took to Twitter after the contest to confirm that he was fine although he would have had further tests on Monday morning.

And if reports of his injury scare are true, then PSG have suffered a massive blow in their quest to become kings of Europe.
