Ahead of Sunday's clash with Alaves, Ernesto Valverde has submitted his Barcelona squad of 18 leaving Andre Gomes, Denis Suarez and Gerard Deulofeu out of the squad.

Aside from the already known injuries to Ousmane Dembele and Thomas Vermaelen, the trio will not be in action on Sunday.

Gomes has a stomach problem whilst the Spanish duo of Suarez and Deulofeu have been omitted by Valverde courtesy of a technical decision.

Philippe Coutinho is in the squad and could be in line to make his first start since joining the club early in January.
