Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos has sent a warning to Barcelona after their victory over Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League at the Santiago Bernabeu on Wednesday.

Ramos was solid in the defence for the European Champions in the 3-1 victory against PSG as Real Madrid mounted a comeback to claim the victory.

Real Madrid season has been in shambles after they were dumped out of the Copa Del Rey and sit 17 points behind arch-rivals Barcelona.

The heat has been on coach Zinedine Zidane and his men to live up to the expectations since the start of the season due to their poor performance in La Liga and suffered a lot of critics.

Ramos has hit back at the critics and sounded a warning that the club is not dead and can still compete with Barcelona for the title and European honours

"We have taken an important step, but the tie is more than open, it's time to keep working

It is an important victory, these are the days to remember in your career.

We must continue in this line in the second leg. We have done a great job.

We have played a very serious game, which is what this competition requires

Any mistake can leave you out

Despite receiving the goal we wanted to continue looking for victory.

In spite of what they say to Real Madrid, it cannot be given for dead." Ramos told Express.

Real Madrid will travel to Benito Villamarin to take on Real Betis on Sunday.
