Nigerians Attack Wole Soyinka For His Silence On Buhari Govt

 

Nigerians on the social media especially twitter have come for the head of Nobel Laureate Wole Soyinka for not criticising the current administration led by President Muhammadu Buhari which he played a major role in bringing into power.

The grouse Nigerians have with the revered playwright is that he is not attacking the current government like he consistently did when Goodluck Jonathan was in power.

As usual, there are arguments against and for Soyinka’s alleged refusal to criticise Buhari’s government.

Some are of the view that the Kongi Harvest writer should be left alone as he had done enough to bring about a better Nigeria.

They opined that he can’t keep fighting due to his age and that the youths should pick up the baton to force another change.

Others believe he has to be held responsible for endorsing Buhari.
