Former Nigeria international sunk in three goals for his Dutch club Willem II as they drew 3-3 with VVV Venlo in a thrilling encounter.

Ogbeche, now 33, was the hero for Willem as his hattrick ensured they earned a point at Venlo on Saturday, even though he went into the referee’s book in the 57th minute.

The former PSG striker’s goals came in the 62nd, 74th and 90th minutes to ensure Willem II came away with a share of the spoils.

Last weekend, he got his first goal of the season in a 2-2 home draw with Sparta Rotterdam.

The draw moved his club above the relegation pack as they are now 15th in the standings with 11 points from 13 matches.

Compatriot Kelechi Nwakali on loan from Arsenal was an unused sub for VVV, who are 12th on the table with 15 points from 13 matches.
