Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos fears Zinedine Zidane could be shown the exit door at the end of the season, according to report.

According to Diario Gol says Ramos can sense change is in the air and has confessed as much to confidants.

Ramos is close to Zidane and the Spanish defender wants the French man to continue to be in charge but he is also aware how Real President Florentino Perez operates and the captain can sense trouble ahead.

The match between Real Madrid and Barcelona on December 23 will be a major determinant of Zidane’s future as a defeat in el-Classico will heap pressure on Perez to act.

A midseason dismissal is unlikely, but Ramos has told friends he is concerned Zidane will walk away at season's end.

Real Madrid has lost their consistency in La Liga this season, having lost two games and drew three after just 13 La Liga games.

Though Real Madrid has been rocked by injuries and suspensions to some of their senior squad players and the exit of important veteran players without an adequate replacement has been one of their reasons for their recent woes.
