An FC Barcelona superstar has reportedly been linked with a shock move away from the Catalans, and is considering the move.
According to Sport, midfielder Andres Iniesta has been offered a contract from an unknown club in the Chinese Super League.
It has been claimed that the 33-year-old has received a massive offer from one of the league's top teams, and is playing with the idea of leaving the Catalan giants.
Despite the player signing a lifetime contract at Barca last year, it has been reported that the club are also willing to let him go if the move is what he wants.
Iniesta has played a key role in manager Ernesto Valverde's system this season, despite rarely completing a full 90 minutes – the Barca manager has seemingly tried to manage the Spaniard's campaign very carefully in order to have him available for as many matches as possible.
The Spain international has featured 27 times for his side across all competitions this season, of which only three of those matches were full games.
Do you think Iniesta should consider a move away from Barca, or should he retire at his lifelong club? Let us know in the comments section below.
